Applies to all parts supplied by us only, against manufacturing defects & valid subject to the following provision/s Duration of any warranty is strictly valid to the part being calibrated/assembled &/or installed by a qualified mechanic (with verifiable certification) &/or RMI member/approved workshop (valid membership) that is proficient & experienced in installing the relevant part according to vehicle/engine manufacturer’s specs & guidelines; Claim will not be considered until this condition is met &/proven; Valid subject to parts being paid for in full & account is debt free as no warranty claims will be entertained if claimant has not fully paid for any outstanding debt or for any item, regardless if the claim is against same item or different; Valid in the name of the original purchaser, therefore we will only deal with the purchaser/company of the part & not the end user; Valid for use/installation in one vehicle, i;e;, first vehicle it is installed in; Valid subject to parts/auxiliary parts that require replacement being replaced (e.g., oil & cooling components) or calibration being inspected & calibration set by a professional certified technician (e.g.; turbo/fueling components); proof of which being retained; Traceable service history as per manufacturer’s guidelines from date of installation, including replacement of oil & filter after 1000km in relation to engine blocks/similar; Proof of the above compliance is the customers responsibility before a claim will be considered; Upon request customer shall allow us the opportunity to inspect the claimed defective item, unaltered, including supporting claim documents, item must be returned to base at customer expense. Retail - 6 months or 10,000km on all parts except those with further stipulation or excluded from cover; Trade - 6 months or 10,000km on all parts except those with further stipulation or excluded from cover; Parts used in/for taxi/ambulance/security/response vehicles - 30 days on all parts except those with further stipulation or excluded from cover; Engines - Strictly start up across all customers; Gearbox – subject to a new clutch & pressure plate being installed; Cylinder Head, Crankshafts & Engine blocks/subs – subject to cooling (parts replaced & fluids mixed to correct ratio), lubricating (parts replaced, correct grade fluids & pressure), timing, ignition, sealing, bearing & other complementary components being replaced or tested & proven to be working to vehicle manufacturers operating specifications; Turbos – subject to cooling, lubrication and airflow systems operational at optimum levels; Special Order & Non-House Brands - Supplier’s terms & conditions apply & are subject to their warranty & claim policy, in addition to our warranty terms & conditions where applicable.

Not Covered Under Warranty or Will Void Warranty

Including but not limited to cylinder heads, crankshafts & engines/blocks; Clutches – riding of clutch; Damage due to kick-start; Damage due to storage in customer/agent’s premises; Failure due to worn/failed auxiliary parts; Fair wear & tear; Human error – inexperienced/untrained/unqualified mechanic/technician or incorrect fitment procedure or deviation from manufacturer guidelines; Incorrect timing/torque settings or timing faults due to frail/used parts; Over fueling to due fueling parts not calibrated; Over-heating due to cooling components not working to capacity or incorrect coolant mix; Use of incorrect grade/type/mix ratio of coolants/lubricant or faulty pumps/incorrect pressure; Poor lubrication or lubricant pressure due to faulty parts or wrong grade oil; Any new item which is tampered/altered after receiving as supplied, without authorisation, or attempted removal/tampering with serial numbers / seals & removal of indicators will render your warranty void. We don’t cover labour costs, recovery, transport or incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages such as, but not limited to, cost for alternative part, claimed further damage to vehicle, physical injuries or property damage, loss of time, loss of use of vehicle, inconvenience, rental vehicle & towing charges or accommodations resulting from a defect in or failure of the part, nor any other costs; nor a claim where vehicle was unable to be used, for any reason including being impounded by police, until after the warranty period has expired; (if not CPA you indemnify against any claim, liability, losses, costs &/or expenses (including legal) brought against us relating to goods supplied to you) Parts excluded from warranty Clutch components; Conversions; Covers, manifolds & sumps; Electrical/Electronic components & sensors; Fuel injection components; Gaskets & bolts; Oil & Water Pumps; Sealants; Throttle body; Timing components; Turbos & cartridge; V8 Performance. Salvaged/Used parts supplied on special request - including, but not limited to, cylinder heads, blocks, cranks, sub-assemblies, long blocks & half/full engines are sold as is & is supplied with a 30 day start up warranty on condition customer gets the part reconditioned, which must be supported by documentation. We recommend testing & condition/refurbishing before installing. Trade - including but not limited to cylinder heads, crankshafts, engines, blocks, sub-assemblies & lock block assemblies supplied to trade customers which a claim is made against must be inspected by the trader, with consent from Eklutna Trading 9, prior to being returned to Eklutna Trading 9. All the above conditions still apply.
